Gli MC5 hanno annunciato il nuovo album “Heavy Lifting“, dopo più di 50 anni dall’ultimo album in studio. Sarà pubblicato per earMUSIC il 18 ottobre, ovvero il giorno prima dell’ingresso della band nella Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. “Heavy Lifting” è disponibile per il pre order a questo link.

L’album conterrà le voci e chitarre del fondatore della band Wayne Kramer, deceduto il 2 febbraio di quest’anno, e la batteria di Dennis ‘Machine Gun’ Thompson, anch’egli mancato a maggio. Inoltre saranno presenti artisti come Tom Morello, Slash, William Duvall (Alice in Chains), Tim McIllrath (Rise Against), Vernon Reid (Living Colour) e altri. La produzione è invece marchiata Bob Ezrin (Alice Cooper, Pink Floyd, Kiss, Deftones, Deep Purple).
